About Me

One More Light is a mindful way of observing the world. Through photography, I explore stillness, distance, and the quiet presence of light. It is fleeting, often overlooked, yet always real.

My name is Lukas Mari. I am a photographer based in Austria with a background in journalism and yoga. My work is rooted in slow, meditative seeing. I am drawn to open landscapes, cultural textures, and moments of quiet presence. These are fragments of time when nothing needs to happen, yet everything feels present.

Travel has shaped the way I see, both outwardly and inwardly. Each new place subtly changes how I look and what I begin to notice. I am less interested in highlights than in atmospheres, in places that carry depth and linger beyond the obvious.

Photography has been part of my life since my youth. Over time, it has become less about capturing moments and more about connecting with places, people, and stories that exist just beneath the surface.

One More Light is not about the spectacular. It is about what stays with you. The space, the silence, and the quiet sense that something meaningful has passed.
